Ethique have a great range of products  for babies, pets, storage solutions, concentrated liquid products, with new items being introduced frequently - I like the look of the lip balm !

There's also trial packs of some products, so that you can test before you commit to a full size item.

The solid products are made with biodegradable, palm oil-free, naturally-derived and sustainably sourced ingredients.  

 

How to use ethique deodorant

I used a trial size of the unscented deodorant, which was perfect for me. It's a really cute heart shaped bar that just fits in your hand.

If you're a bit uncomfortable with handling the product directly, I found that you could hold the bar on the flat side with the paper it's wrapped in and then the curved front of the heart fits perfectly in to your armpit.

As this is a firmer, dryer bar (with a slight tendency to crumble), I found that this worked best by slowly moving the bar over my skin, allowing the product to warm and soften as I applied it. 

ethique now have the deodorants in tubes, so this might be an option for you to try.

 

How effective is ethique deodorant?

So  - how did this go? 

This was perfect - it worked well and lasted the whole day with no rash or irritation.

 

What is the ethique deodorant fragrance?

There is an unfragranced option which is really important to me but there's lots of interesting fragrances for you to try if you want to!

 

Subscription service, charity support and eco credentials

Eco and charity credentials are massively important to ethique.

They are a certified B Corp, they plant a tree for every order received , they are climate positive, they trade directly with farmers for their ingredients and they donate 2% of their sales to charity.

ethique are New Zealand based but sea freight their products to Australia, USA and UK warehouses.

There is a loyalty scheme where you earn points for purchases and can redeem these against future purchases.

Would I recommend ethique deodorant?

Most definitely yes - there's an unscented version, it worked well, it's easy to use, the eco credentials are excellent and there's lots of other similar products to try !
